Their differences nourish their vision and encourage them to talk about everything, to deconstruct in order to better grasp what surrounds them. By asserting that nothing belongs to anyone, Ghizlane Terraz and Bouchra Ouikou provoke new possibilities and forge unexpected links along the way.

With hybridity as the core of their identity, they present the world as they hope it will be: plural, with a variety of prisms and opposing yet complementary viewpoints. From a common base and shared values, they develop a singular way of telling stories through each medium.

Committed to authentic aesthetics, they draw inspiration from familiar heritages, nourished by multicultural references. With creation as the basis of their action, they strive to defend a positive outlook and a range of representations, to re-establish a form of balance among divisions.

As tools of transformation and healing, Ghizlane and Bouchra use these images to make visible and pay homage, telling the story as it is experienced by many. Moving away from a conventional form of beauty, they call on the unusual and the power of the collective to shape this new visual culture, rich in nuance.
